In addition, he held the office of Justice of the Peace; office of Deputy Lieutenant of London; and Deputy Lieutenant of Middlesex. \u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe sat as a Municipal Reform Party member of the London County Council representing Wandsworth, Balham and Tooting from 1922-37.
